Akademie Uberlingen in Bremen

I started preparing for the external chef exam in July 2017. It was a tough month for me because I still had a full-time job on the other hand. The lecturers are simply MEGA !!!! Take your time and explain everything 20 times if necessary. As a student you just have to want to. My theoretical instructor Mr. H ...... an old hand in the whole cooking material had his concerns at the beginning ..... but always stood by me with advice and assistance. I studied every evening and then soon passed every test with 1. I passed the exam in April and May 2018 pretty well thanks to the very good preparation and support of the Akademie überlingen and your fantastic lecturers. I am now the head of a large kitchen. Those who really want can make it through the educational opportunities or second educational pathways, retraining, etc. and enjoy their own life with a good professional qualification.

Not recommendable

We celebrated our Christmas dinner with the company there and we were all very satisfied. The food in the training restaurant was just first class, sometimes even better than in normal restaurants. The service was amazing. The guest was emperor ;-) We enjoyed the Christmas buffet for a very fair price. So on behalf of my colleagues and me, the practice restaurant of the Überlingen Academy is only recommended.

School for cooks and waiters so don't expect too much. Prices are ok but service and quality are very inconsistent.
